The contract system that makes sure what you signed actually happens.

Built for South Africa, with AI you can check.

It makes contracts happen, not just stores them.

Every obligation in every contract becomes a record owned by a role, with a holder, cover for leave, evidence, verification and reminders on South African business days. When someone resigns, you fill the role; you don’t edit every contract.

My obligations in CMX: two obligations due this week, each with its contract; one belongs to a contract the holder cannot open and shows the clause only.
Obligations due this week, each owned by a role, with the evidence it needs.

How an obligation moves

  1. ProposedAI reads the clause and proposes the obligation, pointing to its words.
  2. ConfirmedA person accepts it and sets the role that owns it.
  3. RemindedThe holder is reminded 30, 7 and 1 days before, on business days.
  4. DoneThe holder marks it done with the evidence its type requires.
  5. VerifiedA second person, never the one who did it, verifies or sends it back.

AI you can check.

CMX reads the contract and proposes dates, parties, amounts and obligations. Each one points to its page and words. Your people confirm. Nothing a model finds counts until someone does.

Built for South Africa.

Every due date and reminder respects South African public holidays. Priced in rand by active contract, with viewers and obligation owners free. Electronic signature inside CMX with no per-envelope fee, in Enterprise. Sold through resellers you already buy from.

The CMX signing page on a phone: the end of the contract, a note that the signer's email address and mobile number are kept with this contract under POPIA, and the Sign and Decline with a reason buttons.

Who it is for

FinanceThe committed value of the book, what expires when, and no obligation paid late or rebate unclaimed.
  • Payment, escalation and rebate obligations owned by the Accounts Payable role, with reminders and escalation when overdue. Core
  • Committed contract value with its basis, and value expiring in the next 12 months by month. Enterprise
  • Board packs in PDF and Excel on the first business day of the month, and a Power BI feed. Enterprise
  • Approval steps by value band on waivers and renewal decisions. Enterprise
OperationsYour people get the task on the day, with the clause, even if they can’t open the contract.
  • Start, mark done with evidence, verify; a snooze never moves the due date. Core
  • Leave and cover: the cover sees the items while the holder is away. Core
  • Reminders on South African business days, by the channel each person chooses. Core
  • Teams cards for obligations and approvals. Enterprise
ProcurementEvery supplier’s obligations to you, and yours to them, with evidence, in one register.
  • Obligations owed to you, such as SLA reports, insurance certificates and rebates, tracked like your own, with counterparty performance on the dashboard. Core
  • Renewal alerts from the notice deadline at 90, 60 and 30 days, and the renewal decision recorded with its reason. Core
  • Insurance certificates and compliance first on the dashboard, with a certificates-only view. Core
  • Required signatory roles per contract type, checked before a contract can be sent for signature. Enterprise
LegalApproved wording, every deviation listed, and a reviewer’s decision on every contract that needs one.
  • A clause library with preferred and fallback positions; a deviation from a locked clause blocks the final version until a lawyer accepts it with a reason. Enterprise
  • Word stays the editor: templates and drafts are Word documents, edited by check-out. Enterprise
  • Risk against your own playbook, with the AI’s reason and the clause cited on every line; the level is a fixed calculation, never a model’s opinion. Enterprise
  • Self-service drafting sends only what needs a lawyer to the legal queue. Enterprise
  • Keyword search and an audit trail on every contract. Core
ExecutivesOne number per department that you can click to the list, and a risk heat map you can explain to the board.
  • The company view of the obligations dashboard: on-time rates by department and role, and roles with no holder. Core
  • Every number counts only what the viewer may see, and opens the list behind it. Core
  • A portfolio risk heat map, a dashboard builder and a board pack that sends itself. Enterprise
  • Ask a question across your contracts and get an answer with every statement cited. Enterprise
IT, security and the information officerSeparation enforced in the database, audit on every change, data stored in South Africa.
  • Tenant separation enforced in the database and proved by leak tests on every release; admin roles give no contract access. Core
  • Sign in with the Microsoft or Google identity your company already has. Core
  • Contract text is treated as data, never instructions; the AI never sees a contract the person asking cannot open, and customer data is not used for training. Core
  • Built as a POPIA operator: a privacy notice, an operator agreement, a record of processing and a security-measures summary are supplied, and personal information is handled as the pack describes. Core
